Well, Thank God That's Over
After eight long years, we've finally won all of our wars. I mean, obviously we must have, seeing as how the White House says that we are no longer involved in a war on terror.
Apparently when liberals don't like the way something is going, they just change the name. People aren't falling for your socialist health care plans? Stop talking about health care and start demonizing insurance companies. Don't want to piss of your dictatorial buddies in the Middle East? Stop calling them terrorists. But, let concerned citizens show up at town hall meetings to voice their opposition to this massive takeover of health care, and they are "mobs".
Do they really think we're that stupid, that we won't notice that President Obama has become hostile directly with the American people?

It's official. The U.S. is no longer engaged in a "war on terrorism." Neither is it fighting "jihadists" or in a "global war."Oh wait, I guess we're still at war after all, we're just going to change the terminology. You know, just like;
President Obama's top homeland security and counterterrorism official took all three terms off the table of acceptable words inside the White House during a speech Thursday at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.
"The President does not describe this as a 'war on terrorism,'" said John Brennan, head of the White House homeland security office, who outlined a "new way of seeing" the fight against terrorism.
- Global Warming became Climate Change
- Health Care Reform became Health Insurance Reform
- Stimulus Bill Will Create Jobs = Stimulus Bill Saved Jobs
- Global War On Terror became Overseas Contingency Operation

LOL... i am pretty sure changing the name of something to make it more palatable is NOT the sole domain of liberals. Though I would imagine that sometime around the next election, there will be more opportunity for terrorist threats.

I have to agree with you there. It seems most politicians, no matter the initial after their name, become complete douche bags once they have taken office. I just like to pick on the democrats. Especially since they're in power now. But don't worry, I have plenty of ridicule planned for the republicans, too.
It's been a very busy year for me. I'm getting married in a month and I've had several large projects at work that have kept me extremely busy. Things are finally slowing down, so I'm back with the posting. Plus, you've inspired me with your "once a day" posting.

LOL... I am shooting for posting once every day for the foreseeable future... I am sure that at the first sign of trouble, the blog will be the first to suffer... it is always the ones we love that we hurt the most.
Congrats on your impending wedding. Might I ask if it is the same lovely lady that once posted alongside you?
